Internal Quality Assurance Cell
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Bodoland University was established on 21st April 2014. Established in line with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC ensures continuous quality enhancement across various domains of the university.
Strategies of IQAC
IQAC shall develop mechanisms and procedures for:
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic and administrative tasks.
- The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes.
- Research sharing and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
- Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society.
- Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
- The credibility of evaluation procedures.
- Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure and services.
Functions of IQAC
- Development and application of quality standards for academic and administrative work.
- Facilitating in a student-friendly learning environment and supporting teacher development.
- Arrangement of feedback from students, parents and other stakeholders and their analysis for quality-related institutional processes.
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
- Facilitation and organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes.
- Documentation of data leading to quality improvement.
- Coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS in support of quality improvement.
- Development of Quality Culture in the institution.
- Preparation and compilation of AQAR and other required data to be submitted to NAAC and other agencies.
