The one-year PGDHR program equips students with the knowledge and critical awareness of the human rights discourse and the roles and duties of major human rights organizations on a worldwide and domestic scale, focusing on their implications in India. Graduates will be well- 78 prepared for advocacy and lobbying positions and leadership positions in social impact organizations. Through this program, students gain knowledge of current policy and law in the field of human rights, as well as an appreciation of new jurisprudential tendencies. They also lay a theoretical foundation of human rights law, making practice and implementation more informed.
