The Department of Education was established in 2015 under the School of Social Sciences. Presently, the department offers two years Master of Arts in Education spreading over four semesters and Ph.D programme. The department emphasizes on creating a holistic education system, developing values and all-round development in individuals.

Objective and Mission

The objective of the department seeks to acquaint the students with the emerging trends and development in education and to impart an understanding of the various educational plans and policies of various education systems that are being practiced.

The mission of the department is to prepare the learner with knowledge, skills and disposition to contribute to a better society.To train them to earn livelihood and to develop a positive attitude towards society.
